Job Description
As a Welder Trainee, you will be responsible for mastering welding skills, operating equipment safely, and assembling metal parts with precision. You will undergo a comprehensive training program to qualify for a full-time welding position.
Responsibilities
- Pass and maintain required welder certifications and qualifications.
- Operate overhead cranes and welding equipment safely.
- Set up and adjust welding equipment for proper weld quality.
- Weld and assemble metal components in various positions.
- Heat, form, fit, and position materials for welding.
- Read blueprints, follow work instructions, and use measuring tools accurately.
- Maintain quality standards and attention to detail.
- Cross-train and support various production areas as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency with tape measure, assembly, production, hand tools, mechanical assembly, power tools, and manufacturing mechanical tasks.
- Welding experience or certification through an educational institution.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mc Connellsburg, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.75/hr.
