Thin‑Gauge TIG/MIG Welding Technician Ready for your next challenge?

Do you take pride in clean, consistent TIG welds on thin material and in holding tight tolerances? Join us and help turn prints into production parts while advancing Lean practices on the floor.

Impact you'll make
  • Assemble fabricated metal products with TIG as your primary process; apply MIG knowledge when required.
  • Meet quality from the first arc to the final bead—self-inspect and verify before sending to inspection.
  • Own your schedule performance: hit time standards and customer delivery requirements.
  • Maintain welding equipment cleanliness and proper fluid levels to maximize uptime.
  • Hold specified tolerances; follow blueprints and technical documentation precisely.
  • Return fixtures and tooling upon job completion to keep the cell organized.
  • Address routine manufacturing issues; escalate to supervision when needed.
  • Direct your personal workflow and communicate effectively with teammates.
  • Identify setup-reduction opportunities and Lean process improvements; communicate to the appropriate 6S team lead.
  • Accurately use the E2 management system to meet company standards.

What you'll need to excel
  • Demonstrated ability to weld thin-gauge materials with solid penetration and clean aesthetics.
  • TIG operation proficiency; MIG knowledge.
  • Blueprint and technical document literacy aligned with machine operation.
  • Hands-on skill with shop tools (including hand tools and rolls) and inspection gages.
  • Basic math and basic computer capability.
  • Strong organization, time management, and independent prioritization.
  • Continuous improvement mindset—challenge and improve processes as needed.
  • Clear communication and positive interpersonal skills; self-starter who can multi-task.
Minimum qualifications
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
Also good to know
  • Moderate noise environment; PPE may be required.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
