Mammography Technologist Travel Job:

U.S. Nursing is seeking experienced and self-motivated travel Mammography Technologists for a potential strike in the fall.

Mammography Tech Qualifications:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART) certification
  • BLS
  • Minimum of one year experience as Mammography Tech, within the past two years.
  • Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree program.

In addition you must:

  • Commit to a full 9 days away from home, one U.S. Nursing receives the official 10-days notice.
  • Be available to work ANY shift. U.S. Nursing does not guarantee shift placement.
  • Hand-carry your complete file.
  • Not be CURRENTLY WORKING or IN PROCESS for any Fastaff assignment.

 

Mammography Tech Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Educate patients regarding the procedure and address any questions or concerns the patient. 
  • Perform cranial-caudal views from above (CC) and mediolater-oblique views from oblique or angled views (MLO).
  • Perform diagnostic or screening mammogram as ordered by the physician.
  • Produce quality high-contrast and high-resolution images for the Radiologist to evaluate.
