Job Overview: Industrial Maintenance Technician:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of industrial equipment and systems across our facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems, with a strong emphasis on safety standards and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: Industrial Maintenance Technician:
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters.
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical systems including low voltage, high voltage, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical blueprint reading.
  • Conduct equipment troubleshooting and repairs utilizing engineering troubleshooting techniques to minimize downtime.
  • Operate and maintain specialized tools such as scissor lifts, HVAC/R systems, precision measuring instruments, and welding equipment.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze system failures and implement long-term solutions to improve reliability.
  • Perform field service tasks including equipment installation, calibration, and upgrades in compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service by effectively communicating with internal teams and external vendors regarding technical issues.
  • Support safety initiatives by adhering to OSHA regulations and promoting a safe working environment.
Experience: Industrial Maintenance Technician:
  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/R systems, and welding (including welding standards).
  • Demonstrated ability to read schematics, electrical blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Experience with electrical diagnostics involving ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems troubleshooting, and engineering troubleshooting methods.
  • Hands-on experience with equipment repair involving high voltage systems and low voltage controls.
  • Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking is preferred.
  • Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and perform field service tasks effectively.
  • Strong analysis skills for diagnosing issues quickly while maintaining safety protocols.
  • Prior military or technical training background is advantageous but not mandatory.
