Maintenance Mechanic

We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Jessup, MD! In this hands-on role, you'll maintain and repair food production machinery, building systems, and facility equipment to keep everything running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical equipment issues
• Read and use blueprints and electrical schematics
• Repair motors, pumps, conveyors, switches, lighting, and piping
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs using hand and power tools
• Work safely with high-voltage electrical circuits (480V, 3-phase)
• Handle plumbing and building maintenance tasks
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment
• Follow OSHA safety standards, GMPs, and use proper PPE
• Support food safety and quality initiatives

What We're Looking For:

• Apprenticeship or equivalent experience in mechanical trades or maintenance
• Electrical certification or equivalent experience with high/low voltage systems
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic TIG/MIG welding
• Ability to read, write, and understand English instructions
• Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and climb ladders
• Available to work production days, including Sundays

Schedules Available: 1st Shift – 7am to Finish; 2nd Shift – 3:30pm – Finish

Pay Rate: $23/hr – based on experience
