Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial trucks and trailers.
• Conduct inspections to identify mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Help troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems using industry-standard tools and equipment.
• Support the lead mechanic with repairs, including brakes, engines, and electrical systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities accurately for tracking and compliance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve skills and service quality.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in automotive or truck repair preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus but not required.
