As the Director of Nursing, you will play a vital role in leading our nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services that meet the unique needs of each individual.
About the Role:
As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for:
Leadership: Oversee and manage the nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants
Quality Assurance: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Care Coordination: Collaborate with other departments and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions and effective care management
Staff Development: Identify education and training needs, develop and implement staff development programs to enhance clinical and interpersonal skills
Communication: Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent communication and customer service
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed
Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement care plans, interventions, and patient-centered services
Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
Develop and manage the nursing budget, including staff salaries, supplies, and equipment
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in nursing leadership or management
Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
