Rush Bowls is looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic Smoothie Barista to join our team. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent service, and wants a part-time job where effort can directly increase earning potential.

Our Smoothie Baristas prepare fresh bowls and smoothies, create a welcoming experience for every guest, and help keep the restaurant clean, organized, and ready for business.

This position also includes a unique opportunity to earn additional commission by helping introduce Rush Bowls to local businesses and organizations.

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service
• Prepare smoothies, bowls, and other menu items accurately and efficiently
• Answer menu questions and help guests choose products they will enjoy
• Operate the register and process customer orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked restaurant
• Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and food-preparation responsibilities
• Work cooperatively with teammates during both busy and slower periods
• Help raise awareness of Rush Bowls’ catering options by contacting nearby businesses during designated downtime
• Share basic information about our restaurant, catering packages, and group-order options
• Record outreach activity so we can properly track any resulting orders

The business-outreach portion of the position is not high-pressure sales. The goal is simply to introduce Rush Bowls to local offices and organizations so they know we are available when they need breakfast, lunch, snacks, or catering for a group.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous restaurant, retail, customer-service, or phone experience is helpful, but not required

Compensation and Earning Potential

This position includes:

• Competitive hourly pay
• Customer tips in addition to the hourly rate
• Commission for qualifying catering or group orders generated through your outreach
• Employee discounts
• Training and opportunities to take on additional responsibility

Because employees earn tips and can earn commission from successful catering outreach, total earning potential may be meaningfully higher than the posted hourly wage. Tips and commission are additional compensation and are not guaranteed.

Schedule

Our immediate need is for someone available:

• Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Some evening or weekend availability, based on employee interest and business needs
• Additional evening shifts are available for employees interested in working more hours

Consistent, year-round availability is strongly preferred.
