Property Maintenance Technician

The following is a list of general responsibilities for this position. It is understood that these general responsibilities are not inclusive of all the duties that this position requires, but instead, are intended as a general scope of work.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Maintain grounds, landscaping and irrigation systems. Supervise groundskeeper, assist with grounds keeping duties.
• Maintain and repair irrigation systems and related equipment.   
• Maintain pool, spa, fountains and related equipment.

SECONDARY DUTIES

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, and routine diagnostics on physical and mechanical systems within building. Complete preventative maintenance checklists and reports for management. Perform regular testing of emergency equipment including generators and pumps.
• HVAC - replace filters on a quarterly basis, monitor operation of systems.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs. Replace water filters as needed.
• Perform minor electrical equipment repair; replace light bulbs, ballasts, light switches, and outlets as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned, if deemed necessary, by the Company.

REQUIREMENTS

• Four (4) years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician with experience in landscaping maintenance, irrigation and pools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; job requires constant bending, lifting, pushing, and moving.
• Must be able to operate power equipment.
• Must have personal transportation, a valid Nevada Driver’s license, and a good driving record.
• Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to work well with others with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Must be reliable and timely.
• Ability to communicate in a positive fashion.

Wage based on experience.
