Sanitation Truck Driver

CDL-B SANITATION TRUCK DRIVER - OVERNIGHT SHIFT (Glendale, NY 11385)
Starting Pay: $28.00-$32.87/hr.

JOB DUTIES:

• Operate CDL packer trucks safely and efficiently.
• Collect and remove waste and recyclable materials from customer locations.
• Navigate city streets, high-traffic areas, alleys, and parking lots during assigned routes.
• Complete scheduled collection and hauling services in accordance with operational procedures.
• Inspect vehicles and report maintenance concerns as needed.
• Maintain route and service documentation.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Perform physical tasks associated with waste and recycling collection operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• CDL Class B or higher.
• Ability to meet applicable DOT/FMCSA requirements.
• Experience operating large trucks preferred.
• Ability to safely operate sanitation collection vehicles.
• Ability to work overnight shifts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
