Mechanical Piping Designer

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Drafter with strong AutoCAD experience to support the design and documentation of piping systems and mechanical equipment.. This role involves creating accurate technical drawings for fabrication, installation, and maintenance of machinery and piping systems. We are looking for local candidates as no relocation is available.

Responsibilities

* Create and update mechanical drawings under the guidance of engineers.

* Assist with piping layouts, schematics, and basic isometric drawings

* Support preparation of machine and equipment drawings

* Revise drawings based on markups, redlines, and engineering input

Qualifications

* Associate degree, technical diploma in Mechanical drafting, engineering technology, or related field.

* Ability to read engineering sketches and specifications

* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

* Good communication and organizational skills
