Impress Staffing Services is seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Mechanic for a reputable tire and automotive service facility in the Modesto area. We are looking for an experienced technician who has their own tools and is confident performing a variety of maintenance and repair services.

Responsibilities

• Perform brake inspections, repairs, and replacements
• Complete wheel alignments accurately and efficiently
• Diagnose and repair front-end suspension and steering components
• Conduct general automotive maintenance and repairs
• Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical issues
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Follow company safety procedures and shop standards

Requirements

• Previous automotive mechanic experience at a tire shop required
• Must own and maintain personal mechanic tools
• Strong knowledge of brakes, alignments, and front-end repairs
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and recommend repairs
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Desired Skills

• Tire service experience is a plus
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail
