Daycare Assistants (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Carousel Academy is looking for caring, energetic, and dependable individuals to join our team! We are currently hiring full-time and part-time Daycare Assistants to help provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines.
• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
• Help create a warm, positive, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth through play and learning.
• Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, and nap time as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom.
• Communicate professionally with families and coworkers.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children is encouraged.
• 18 years of age or older.
• A positive attitude, patience, and a genuine love for working with children.
• Reliable, responsible, and a team player.
• Ability to meet New York State childcare employment requirements (background check, fingerprinting, and required trainings).
