JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Surgery
  
• Licenses: Active, unrestricted Texas Medical License; Active Texas DEA with Texas address
  
• DEA / CDS: Active Texas DEA with schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, & 5 required
  
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS required if not Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
  
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in Emergency Medicine or related specialty
  
• Other Qualifications: Two years of case logs, two years of CME/CEU documentation
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages presenting to the ED
  
• Manage a high-volume patient panel (31,000 annual visits) with 24-hour physician coverage
  
• Perform emergency procedures as required, including but not limited to laceration repair, intubation, and central line placement
  
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and timely care
  
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the Medhost EMR system
