About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Emergency Medicine MD in Americus, Georgia, 31719!

Pick up 4 to 10 shifts per month in a low-volume emergency department with no trauma coverage and flexible 12 or 24-hour shift options.

Highlights:

Practice & Cases:

• Inpatient emergency department with six treatment beds
• Adult-only patient population
• General emergency medicine with basic procedures and line placement
• Solo physician coverage with APP and nursing support

Schedule:

• PRN coverage, typically 4 to 10 shifts per month
• Day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm or night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• 12-hour or 24-hour shifts available
• No call outside of scheduled in-house coverage

Requirements:

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Active Georgia medical license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required

Logistics:

• Lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursement provided
• Airfare is not provided
