MIG Welder – Day Shift Available
Penmac Staffing is hiring a MIG Welder for a full‑time, temp‑to‑hire manufacturing position in the Independence, KS area. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with MIG welding experience who enjoy hands‑on fabrication work in a fast‑paced production environment.
Pay & Schedule
- Day Shift and Night Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm
- Pay: Starting at $17.22 Day, and 19.22 BOE
Requirements for the MIG Welder
- MIG welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering prints
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Industrial welding experience or welding training preferred
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check
MIG Welder Responsibilities
- Read prints to determine materials and setup
- Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
- Remove slag, spatter, and imperfections
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
