Machine Operator

Machine Operator Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, load, and unload production machinery according to specifications
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and tape measures
• Read and interpret blueprints, including geometric dimensioning
• Accurately enter production data and transactions into company systems
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements for the Machine Operator

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Intermediate shop math skills
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs using team lift or lifting devices as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
• Must be willing to submit to required pre-employment screenings
