Capacitor Assembler - 3rd Shift

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Capacitor Assembler - 3rd Shift.

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential.

What you'll do:

The Capacitor Assembler must be proficient in slitting, cutting, and folding major insulation paper and work closely with the Group Leader, Job Setter, and Production Supervisor to meet safety, production, and quality requirements.

• Review and follow the daily work schedule
• Communicate schedule needs to the Job Setter to ensure required materials are available and inventory is verified
• Review specifications and required drawings to ensure proper machine setup
• Assemble capacitor units using banding machines, crimpers, and other small hand tools as required
• Train and assist other team members as neededMeet departmental safety and productivity goals
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures, including quality alerts, process deviation requirements, proper functioning of error-proofing devices, and adherence to all Visual Operating Procedures (VOPs)
• Complete required 5S+ activities on a daily basis

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year manufacturing experience
