About this Opportunity

Liberty Aluminum Co. is hiring an Estimator for our Fort Myers, FL facility. This person would be responsible for performing take-offs and estimates for commercial projects as assigned by Vice President & Officers, providing professional communication with existing and potential customers, maintaining trusted business relationships, and increasing sales. Commercial Estimator will also monitor industry trends, attend local BIA & tradeshow events as needed, etc. to stay informed of existing & future markets, and to help develop these areas further. 

What You’ll Do

· Perform Takeoffs – Review plans, specifications, and project details to accurately quantify materials, labor, and scope.

· Prepare Estimates – Develop accurate, competitive estimates and proposals while identifying potential scope gaps and pricing considerations.

· Follow Up – Stay on top of outstanding bids, communicate with customers and builders, and follow up on opportunities to help win the work.

· Communicate with the Team – Work closely with other sales team members, CAD, Project Management, and Operations departments to ensure everyone has the information needed to move projects forward

What We are Looking For

· 3+ years of estimating experience in the Florida construction industry

· Commercial estimating experience  preferred

· Experience estimating aluminum, metal, or similar construction products preferred

· Bachelor’s degree not required

· Must be able to pass a Drug and Background screen

Required Skills and Abilities

• Valid driver’s license with ability to safely access job sites, rooftops, ladders, lifts, and building exteriors
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Extensive knowledge of commercial construction, including market‐specific codes and standards
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, shop drawings, and technical specifications strong analytical, problem‐solving, organizational, and time‐management skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; professional company representation
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and adherence to all safety protocols
