Manufacturing Quality Engineer (6-8 years)

We are helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to help ensure assembly, vehicle bring-up, and end-of-line (EOL) testing processes consistently meet the highest quality standards.

In this role, you'll develop and implement in-line and end-of-line quality processes, drive root cause investigations for manufacturing issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance and product quality.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing and quality engineering, experience developing quality systems and process controls, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced production environment.

As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you'll:

• Develop and integrate quality and functional checks throughout the manufacturing process
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for assembly and manufacturing issues
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve end-of-line (EOL) testing processes
• Create and maintain Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (PFMEAs)
• Develop and implement control plans and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) documentation
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and improve assembly and testing processes
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier quality, manufacturing, and design-related issues
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of quality policies, standards, and manufacturing processes
• Develop procedures, work instructions, and documentation that support compliance with quality management standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001

Qualifications:

• Engineering Bachelor's Degree in the respective field (Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial)
• 6-8 years of experience in quality/manufacturing engineering
• Experience with creating FMEA process / Control Plan / APQP
• Able to work fully independent with minimal supervision

Bonus Qualifications:

• Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience
• Process Improvement certification (Lean Six Sigma / Shainin)
• CATIA V5/V6 experience
