Part-time Janitor/Housekeeper

Our client, a leading organization in facility maintenance and support services, is seeking a Part-time Janitor/Housekeeper to join their team. As a Part-time Janitor/Housekeeper, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting daily cleaning and building upkeep. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Part-time Janitor/Housekeeper

Location: Huntsville, AL

Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Shift: Days (8:00 am - 2:00 pm)

What's the Job?

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and restroom sanitation
• Dispose of garbage and restock supplies as needed
• Support internal office moves and cubicle setup or teardown
• Assist with general building maintenance such as minor electrical and plumbing repairs, light replacements, and building cleanup
• Support recycling efforts and maintain overall facility cleanliness and safety

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ years of related cleaning or maintenance experience
• Ability to lift between 50 to 100 pounds safely
• Good attendance and a positive attitude
• Basic knowledge of manual work techniques and industrial equipment
