Sales Counter Representative - Now Hiring

Our client, A supplier for welding products is seeking a Sales Counter Representative to join their team. As a Sales Counter Representative you will be the face of our sales counter, helping customers find the right products, processing orders, and ensuring our inventory is well-stocked and organized. This role requires you to be detail-oriented, have excellent customer service skills and independently and collaboratively, skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sales Counter Representative

Location: Stockton, CA
Pay Range: $20 -$25/hr
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday,  7 am - 4 pm

What’s the Job?

• Welcome and assist walk-in customers with expert guidance on welding and industrial products.
• Process sales transactions accurately, including order entry and payment handling.
• Recommend and upsell products based on customer needs and industry best practices.
• Provide technical support and product knowledge on welding materials, safety gear, tools, and machinery.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring high-demand items are readily available and attractively displayed.

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in industrial or counter sales, preferably in welding, air tank, or related industries.
• Strong communication skills—verbal and written.
• Positive, customer-first attitude.
• Ability to lift and move products up to 50 lbs.
