Job Title: Inside Sales / Business Development Representative (BDR) About the Role We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Inside Sales / Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be the engine of our pipeline, responsible for identifying new business opportunities, executing outbound prospecting campaigns, and driving front-end pipeline growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic researcher, a resilient communicator, and an organizational powerhouse. You will work hand-in-hand with our Territory Managers, scouting undeveloped markets, warming up cold accounts, and managing their calendars to ensure regional sales success. Key Responsibilities • Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation: Conduct high-volume cold calling (cold calls), strategic emailing, and multi-channel outreach to identify and engage decision-makers. • Contact Research: Utilize internal tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and online databases to map out accounts, find key contacts, and gather actionable intelligence. • Calendar Management & Appointment Setting: Qualify prospective leads and successfully schedule introductory meetings and demos for Territory Managers, managing their calendars efficiently. • Pipeline Follow-Up: Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects who have shown interest, keeping the pipeline active and moving forward. • Market Intelligence & Analytics: Perform market research to identify untapped geographical areas, industry verticals, and new business potential. • Sales Data Analysis: Analyze internal commercial and sales data to track outreach performance, conversion rates, and effectiveness of different messaging strategies. • CRM Hygiene: Accurately log all daily activities, account notes, and prospect interactions in our CRM system to ensure seamless hand-offs to the field sales team. Qualifications & Skills • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, business development, telemarketing, or a customer-facing commercial role (experience in outbound prospecting preferred). • The "Hunter" Mentality: Highly resilient, comfortable with cold outreach, and driven by turning a "no" into a "yes." • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build quick rapport and articulate value propositions clearly over the phone and email. • Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills with a knack for data interpretation, market mapping, and identifying trends in commercial data. • Organization & Time Management: Superb organizational skills with the ability to manage calendars, coordinate schedules across different time zones, and multitask effectively. • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), sales engagement tools, and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
