Maintenance Mechanic II

Our client, a leader in industrial maintenance and manufacturing support, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic II, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting the HVAC/Refrigeration team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic II

Location: Liberty, SC

Pay Range: $30.31

Shift: Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems including ice machines, refrigerators, freezers, and environmental chambers.
• Work independently on mechanical, electrical, and control systems to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
• Assist in preventive maintenance activities and order parts necessary for repairs.
• Follow safety protocols and GMP policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to improve work processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC/R system maintenance.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC/R equipment, including control systems and refrigeration components.
• EPA certification for refrigerant reclaiming and disposal is preferred.
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.
