Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable professional to join our team in Sturgis, SD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing all accounts payable transactions accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
• Match purchase orders, invoices, and payment vouchers.
• Prepare and process electronic payments and checks.
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in integrating new capabilities as they become available.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or related accounting role.

Compensation details: 23-25 Hourly Wage
