Pay: From $22.00 - $24.00 per hour (DOE) + Annual Bonus Opportunity of up to $4,000 (Paid Quarterly Based on KPIs)

We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Optician to join our established optometry practice in Rancho Cucamonga. If you enjoy helping patients find the perfect eyewear, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, we'd love to meet you!
Our ideal candidate is a positive, outgoing professional with strong sales skills who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. We take pride in providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming, beautiful office while creating a supportive workplace for our employees.
Schedule:
- Full-time
- Monday through Saturday (hours scheduled within these days)
- Saturday shifts are 6 hours, but you'll be paid for 8 hours
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in selecting eyeglasses, frames, and lenses that best meet their vision and lifestyle needs
- Recommend lens options, coatings, and premium eyewear products based on patient prescriptions
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience while achieving optical sales goals
- Accurately measure pupillary distance (PD), segment height, and frame fit
- Adjust, repair, and dispense eyeglasses
- Verify prescriptions and ensure order accuracy
- Educate patients on lens options, eyewear care, and product features
- Process optical orders and communicate with optical laboratories
- Maintain an organized, attractive, and well-stocked optical showroom
- Work closely with doctors and team members to provide outstanding patient care
- Support daily office operations as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as an Optician is required
- Strong optical sales experience with the ability to recommend products that meet patient needs
- Knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frames, lens materials, and coatings
- Experience taking optical measurements and fitting eyewear
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Positive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team
- Spanish bilingual preferred, but not required
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay: From $22.00 - $24.00 per hour (DOE)
- Annual bonus opportunity of up to $4,000, paid quarterly based on performance metrics

- One personal day annually
- Paid Vacation Leave
- 40 hours after 1 year of service
- 80 hours after 2 years of service

- Employee and immediate family receive eyeglasses or contact lenses at cost
- Extended family receives a 30% discount
- Paid Holidays:
- Christmas Day
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are half-day schedules with full-day pay
