We are seeking an experienced Header Press Operator to join our growing team on 1st shift.

Position Summary

The Header Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining header press machines and auxiliary equipment to produce quality fasteners and metal products. The ideal candidate will have previous header machine experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate header press machines according to production specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment.
• Conduct quality inspections using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.
• Maintain production records and quality documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Header or Press Operator experience or related metal manufacturing experience.
• Experience setting up and operating header machines required.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and perform quality inspections.
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
