Operating Room Nurse | RN

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join a collaborative surgical team at a leading acute care hospital. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced operating room environment while delivering high-quality, patient-centered perioperative care.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Compensation & Incentives

• Salary Range: $34.00 - $48.00/hour
• Shift Differential: $4.00/hour for Nights and Weekends
• Sign-On Bonus: Available on a Case-by-Case Basis
• Relocation Assistance: Available on a Case-by-Case Basis

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgical procedures.
• Provide patient and family education regarding surgical procedures and perioperative care.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including IV therapy, preoperative medications, and surgical site verification.
• Participate in surgical safety protocols including briefing, time-out, debriefing, and universal protocols.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to patient emergencies.
• Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care throughout the perioperative process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent OR RN experience required.
• Scrub and/or circulating experience in the Operating Room required.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
• Registered Nurse Diploma required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment.
