OR Tech II | Kansas City, MO | Up to $35/hr + $15K Bonus

Position Overview

Experienced OR Tech role for surgical technologists capable of independently handling most surgeries but not yet functioning in a senior specialty/leadership role.

Specialty Competency Required

Must be competent as first scrub in 3 of 4 specialties:

• Robotic Surgery
• Total Joints
• Neuro/Spine
• Vascular Surgery

Shift Options

Available Schedules

• Mixed Schedule (Rotating Weekends)
• • 3x12-hour shifts
• Nights (Rotating Weekends)
• • 3x12-hour shifts

On-Call Requirement

• Must live within 30 minutes of facility

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical suites
• Assist with patient positioning/prepping/draping
• Scrub and assist during surgical procedures
• Handle instruments and specimens
• Monitor equipment and sterile field integrity
• Support room turnover and OR efficiency
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 1+ year OR Tech experience required

Education

• Graduate of accredited CORT program

Certifications

• BLS required upon hire
• • American Heart Association
    OR
  • American Red Cross
• CST preferred
• • NBSTSA certification preferred

Leadership Preferences

• Strong organizational skills
• Efficient with wire techniques
• Team-player mentality

Compensation

• Salary Range:
• • $25–$35/hr
• Max pay generally requires ~17 years experience

Additional Pay

• Nights Differential:
• • +$3/hr
• Weekend Differential:
• • +$3/hr
• On-Call Pay:
• • +$3/hr

Bonus

• Sign-On Bonus:
• • $15,000
