Urgent Care RN / LPN Opportunity | Full-Time

A growing urgent care clinic in Great Bend, Kansas is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time permanent opportunity.

Position Highlights

• Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
• Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care
• Location: Great Bend, KS
• Schedule: Full-Time, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Schedule Details: 3 weekdays plus 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday per month
• Pay: $25–$35/hr based on experience

Job Responsibilities

As an RN/LPN in this fast-paced urgent care setting, you will:

• Provide direct patient care and clinical assessments
• Triage patients and assist with urgent care visits
• Administer medications and treatments
• Assist providers with minor procedures
• Perform wound care and point-of-care testing
• Start IVs (if within scope/licensure)
• Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate patient documentation

Requirements

• Current Kansas RN or LPN license (or compact license)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Urgent care, outpatient, ambulatory, or med/surg experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required upon hire
