Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated

**Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.**.
\n**Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract.
\n* * RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation.
\nOPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass.
\nMust receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated * *.
\nDepartment: LDRP RN.
\n*Certifications Required: BLS, NRP*.
\nMinimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience.
\n*400 births a year.
\n- # of L&D Beds: 15 LDRP beds.
\n- # of Postpartum beds: 15 LDRP beds.
\n- Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios?: 1:3, 1:1 for laboring patients.
\n- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Obstetrics, post-partum, antepartum, post-surgical GYN, pregnancy with HTN or diabetes.
\n- Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes.
\n- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Pitocin, Mag, Procardia.
\nWe don't float unless it was critical staffing which is very rare and then floating would only be to sit or do task.
\n\n
- Shifts & Scheduling: 12 hour shifts, 6-7.
\nManager will complete schedule.
\n- Weekend Requirements: Every other.
\n- Holiday Requirements: Yes - if there is a need.
\n- Is there a call or standby requirement?: No
\nRTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract).
\nAdditional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
