Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a urology physician for an ongoing locum tenens role in York, Pennsylvania. This position involves managing cystoscopy, stent procedures, office visits, vasectomy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, penile surgeries, lithotripsy, circumcision, and orchiopexy, with potential support for occasional pediatric obstetrics cases. The role includes weekday clinic hours and 24-hour call responsibilities, with multiple coverage blocks scheduled throughout the year.

Clinical Scope

• Cystoscopy and ureteroscopy procedures
• Vasectomy and vasectomy reversal (not mandatory)
• Prostate surgeries
• Penile procedures
• Lithotripsy and circumcision
• Orchiopexy
• Office visits for adult urological patients
• Support for occasional pediatric obstetrics cases
• Supervision of NP/PAs

Practice Environment
This role supports a hybrid clinic and hospital environment with 16 operating rooms at York Hospital and Apple Hill Surgery Centers. Robotic surgery capabilities are available, and the department combines cysto/stent procedures with routine outpatient visits. Support staff includes four medical assistants, one clinical support associate, and one registered nurse.

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• DEA registration
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience
