About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist (OT) at Rock River Nursing & Rehab, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process, helping patients regain independence and confidence in their daily lives. Your expertise will focus on improving the patient's ability to perform daily activities, such as dressing, grooming, and feeding, as well as adapting to changes in their physical or cognitive function.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to identify patient goals and develop individualized treatment plans

• Design and implement occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and strategies to promote patient independence and functionality

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication

• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document all patient interactions and outcomes

• Participate in staff development and education programs to stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions

Requirements:

• Education: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

• Licensure: Current OT licensure in the state of Wisconsin

• Experience: Minimum 1-year experience as an Occupational Therapist, with experience in geriatric and rehabilitation settings preferred
