Fortunate Training Center is seeking a knowledgeable and reliable Phlebotomy Instructor to join our educational team. In this role, you will lead engaging and comprehensive training sessions for students aspiring to become certified phlebotomists. Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons on phlebotomy techniques, safety protocols, and clinical procedures aligned with industry standards.
- Develop and update curriculum materials to ensure relevance and adherence to accreditation requirements.
- Manage classroom dynamics, ensuring a respectful, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
- Incorporate learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement.
- Assess student progress through practical demonstrations, written assessments, and ongoing feedback.
- Facilitate hands-on training sessions in simulated or real clinical environments to build practical skills.
- Collaborate with program coordinators to plan lesson plans, schedule classes, and monitor student outcomes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in phlebotomy practice with current certification from a recognized certifying body.
- Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners effectively in classroom or clinical settings.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain discipline and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
- Experience in curriculum development tailored for adult education programs.
- Familiarity with learning technology platforms and instructional tools used in healthcare training.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with students and colleagues.
- Bilingual Preferred.
