Position Overview:

 As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating residents to help them achieve long-term health benefits and improve their overall mobility and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Evaluate residents' conditions and develop individualized physical rehabilitation plans.

·        Help residents improve mobility and functional independence.

·        Relieve pain using exercises, hands-on therapy, stretching, and physical therapy devices.

·        Assist residents in using physical therapy equipment effectively.

·        Guide residents through therapy tasks, monitoring their performance and progress.

·        Inform residents about what they should expect at different stages of their recovery.

·        Supervise physical therapy assistants when required.

·        Contribute to interdisciplinary team efforts to ensure comprehensive resident care.

Qualifications:

·        Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.

·        Current New York State PT License.
