If you're passionate about helping others and want to grow professionally in a supportive, best-practice environment, we want you on our team.Why Choose Us:Person-Centered Care: We create custom rehabilitation plans tailored to each resident's unique goals and needsSkilled, Compassionate Team: Our staff are highly trained and dedicated to delivering high-quality, meaningful careInnovative, Supportive Environment: We use best practices and technology in a safe, collaborative setting to help residents thriveYour Role: The Occupational Therapist is responsible for helping persons served improve their functional abilities, independence, and quality of life through individualized occupational therapy interventions tailored to their physical, cognitive, emotional, sensory, and daily living needs.Duties and Responsibilities:Performs occupational therapy assessments, diagnostic tests, skilled treatments, and ongoing evaluation of clients who are receiving servicesCompletes assessments in a timely manner adhering to company policyDevelops a treatment program and establishes goals for improved functionProvides assessment findings and goals to assist in developing the client care plan and obtains specific physician orders as neededDocuments all findings, plans, interventions, and client progressGuides and instructs the client in prescribing therapeutic self-care and creative activities that are directed toward improving independence and physical and cognitive functioningAdvises, consults, and teaches appropriate treatment procedures and supportive activities to clients, family members, and other staffDesigns and/or orders appropriate adaptive/assistive devices and/or splints to promote optimal level of functioningOther duties as assignedRequirements:Insurable driving recordCurrent CPR certification or willingness to obtainOccupational Therapy registration or license as required in the state of MichiganMinimum of two years experience in healthcare Join our team and make a real difference!
