This is a great opportunity to learn a growing and in demand and essential trade. Guardian will train you to become a licensed, certified Fire Sprinkler Technician.We are looking for hard working and hands-on individuals that want to learn a new trade in the fire protection industry. The fire protection industry is in high demand and it can be a long term career that can provide a well paying income with training, certification and years of quality hard work.Compensation This is an Hourly position and the pay rate is contingent on experience and background. It will be discussed during the interview process.Potential Quarterly BonusesJob DutiesAssist in the service, repair, inspections, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.Support technicians with inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and standpipe systems.Learn and follow NFPA standards, local codes, and company safety procedures.Perform basic pipe fitting, cutting, threading, grooving, and assembly tasks under supervision.Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.Maintain a clean and organized work environment at customer locations and company facilities.Complete required training programs and safety certifications.Accurately document work performed and assist with service reports.Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.Follow all OSHA, company, and customer safety requirements.QualificationsA current valid driver's license with 3 or less points is required.Three years of licensed driving experience is required.Experience using a variety of hand tools such as channel locks and pipe wrenches.Willing to work varied hours, nights, early morning and weekend shift when needed.Capable and willing to learn and study about the different fire sprinkler systems in order to pass tests and become certified.Must be comfortable working on ladders 6 to 12ft and on lifts.Ability to lift up to 70lbsAbility to work overhead and in unusual or small spaces such as attics and crawl spacesSkills to communicate well with customers and explain the work being done and any repairs that are necessary.Skills to write well and be very detailed in your write up on service work.Must be well organized and be able to keep track of service tickets and process all required documents for each service performed.Benefits401KMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceShort Term DisabilityLong Term DisabilityLife and AD&D insuranceVacation and Personal timePaid holidaysTuition ReimbursementAllState Sprinkler, LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and prohibits employment discrimination for employees and applicants based on his or her age, race, color, pregnancy, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, marital status, citizenship, or because he or she is an individual with a disability, protected veteran or other status protected by federal, state, and local laws.Job Type: Full-timeThis link leads to the machine-readable files that are made available in response to the federal Transparency in Coverage Rule and includes negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers.
