The Monitoring Technician is responsible for the surveillance of cardiac monitors at central monitoring station; is expert at measurement and interpretation of cardiac rhythms; manages alarms and provides RNs and/or other clinician’s immediate notifications of changes of cardiac or respiratory changes per policy.
- H.S Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Associate's Degree preferred
- Experience in cardiac monitoring preferred
- Ability to successfully complete arrhythmia course or challenge test with minimum passing score of 90 required
WORK SCHEDULE: Per Diem- Varied Shifts

- Continuous telemetry monitoring
- Ventilator support and weaning

- Heart Transplant population
Lyman 1 & Hooker 1: Medical Units offer skills such as:

- Telemetry
- Pulmonary care
Lyman 2 & Hooker 2: Specialty Units are CARF Accredited with a focused patient population:
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Stroke
- Spinal cord Injury
