COTA Occupational Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated COTA Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our collaborative and progressive team at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, a 513-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Syracuse, New York. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in helping our patients recover and regain their independence. Responsibilities:
Follow treatment plans to help restore day-to-day functionality and independence to our patients
Provide personable solutions to accommodate our clients' unique needs and preferences
Assist with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability
Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Requirements:
Current New York State Occupational Therapist Assistant licensure (new graduates encouraged to apply)
Responsible, caring, and dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistants who enjoy helping patients and making a great impact in their personal development
Effective and engaging verbal/written communication skills
Ability to comfortably interact with people of diverse backgrounds
