This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for professionals who remain calm under pressure, lead with empathy, and are motivated by meaningful, real-time impact.

Position Summary

The Mobile Crisis Responder provides in-person crisis intervention services to youth under the age of 21 experiencing significant mental health emergencies that may pose a risk to themselves or others. • Complete all crisis documentation accurately and in real time

  • Collaborate with Care Coordinators and participate in short-term Child & Family Team (CFT) involvement for Pathways clients

  • Provide follow-up, linkage, and referrals to appropriate community resources

  • Maintain on-call availability during scheduled shifts

  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, trainings, and community outreach efforts

  • Comply with all Illinois mandated reporting laws and agency protocols
