Position Title: Assistant General Manager
Salary: $90,000 to $95,000/ Year

As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a vital leadership role in delivering an exceptional hospitality experience across multiple cafés, microkitchens, and corporate events within your assigned building.
This dynamic, guest-facing position combines operational excellence with high-touch client service, overseeing daily foodservice operations while supporting the seamless execution of meetings, executive events, and special functions. You'll lead teams, drive service excellence, and help create an elevated dining experience in a fast-paced environment.
Must be flexible and adaptable to support a 24/7 operation.
In addition, you will:
- Partner with the Executive Chef to ensure food programs meet Bon Appétit standards for quality, freshness, presentation, and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain compliance with Health Department, OSHA, ADA, allergen protocols, and Bon Appétit safety standards.
- Own the successful launch and ongoing performance of new café openings and program expansions.
- Ensure daily operational details are executed consistently while maintaining a strategic view of long-term goals.
- Ensure all allergen signage in cafés and microkitchens is accurate, clearly displayed, and compliant with regulatory and internal standards.
- Partner with the culinary team to verify ingredient disclosures and maintain up-to-date allergen labeling.
- Team Management & Development
- Being able to pivot and adapt as this account has unique food service locations that involve ( pallet jacks / forklifting ) and that its always changing
- Guest experience and client relations
Qualifications:
- Experience in corporate dining and elevated hospitality
- Must be flexible and adaptable to support a 24/7 operation, including availability to work weekends and other non-traditional hours as business needs require.
- 4 years of food service management experience required
- Comprehensive food knowledge.
- Operations management experience with purchasing knowledge.
- Financial management and business acumen skills.
- ServSafe Certification is preferred.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the internet.
- Associate’s degree is preferred.
