About the Role:
As a Mobile Employment Specialist, you will be responsible for providing job search assistance and career guidance to job seekers in various locations. You will work closely with clients to assess their skills, interests, and goals, and develop individualized employment plans to help them achieve success. Your main objective will be to connect job seekers with suitable employment opportunities and provide ongoing support to ensure their success in the workplace.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience working with job seekers, preferably in a mobile or remote capacity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities, veterans, and/or individuals with limited English proficiency
- Experience working with individuals with a history of opioid
- Experience working or collaborating with halfway houses
- Knowledge of local labor market trends and employment resources
- Experience with case management software and/or databases
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake interviews with job seekers to assess their skills, interests, and goals
- Develop individualized employment plans for clients based on their needs and goals
- Provide job search assistance, including resume and cover letter writing, job search strategies, and interview preparation
- Connect job seekers with suitable employment opportunities and provide ongoing support to ensure their success in the workplace
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress

In this role, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with job seekers and connect them with suitable employment opportunities. You will also use your organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress. Additionally, your knowledge of job search strategies and local labor market trends will be essential in providing effective job search assistance to clients. Finally, your ability to work independently and provide ongoing support to clients will be critical in ensuring their success in the workplace.
