Due to our continued growth, we are looking to add a Secondary Service Advisor to support our Lead Service Advisor and help deliver an outstanding customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow into a full-time Service Advisor role while learning our proven processes and working alongside an experienced team. Position Overview As our Secondary Service Advisor, you'll play a key role in keeping our service department running smoothly. You'll assist the Lead Service Advisor with customer communication, appointment scheduling, estimate preparation, vehicle check-ins, follow-up calls, parts coordination, and administrative responsibilities. As your experience grows, you'll take on increased responsibility and become an essential member of our service team. Daily Responsibilities Assist the Lead Service Advisor throughout the day Welcome customers and perform vehicle check-in Schedule appointments and coordinate workflow Prepare estimates using shop management software Communicate repair recommendations to customers Provide repair updates and answer customer questions Coordinate with technicians and parts vendors Review completed repairs with customers Process payments and maintain accurate records Follow American Five Star's VVRP process and service procedures Help maintain exceptional customer satisfaction Support daily front office operations Qualifications Automotive experience preferred Service Advisor or Service Writer experience is a plus Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Mechanical knowledge or willingness to learn Comfortable using computers and estimating software Professional appearance and positive attitude Team player with a strong work ethic Dependable and eager to learn What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Paid training Ongoing coaching and mentorship Career advancement opportunities Family-owned, team-oriented environment Stable, year-round work Employee discounts Paid holidays and vacation (based on eligibility) Why Join American Five Star?
