About the Role:
AURA in Bellaire, TX is looking for a compassionate and skilled Peritoneal Dialysis Nurse to join our dedicated clinical team. Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor peritoneal dialysis (PD) treatments, including CAPD and APD modalities
• Educate patients and caregivers on PD procedures, infection prevention, and home dialysis techniques
• Assess patients for complications such as peritonitis, catheter infections, and fluid imbalances
• Collaborate with nephrologists and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and adjust individualized treatment plans
• Document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and clinical notes accurately in EMR systems
• Conduct follow-up visits and telehealth check-ins to ensure patient compliance and well-being
• Maintain PD supplies, equipment, and inventory in accordance with clinical protocols

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Texas (required)
• Prior experience in peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, or nephrology nursing preferred
• CNN (Certified Nephrology Nurse) certification is a plus
• Strong patient education and communication skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to work independently and manage a patient caseload with minimal supervision
