Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Audit & Tax Professional to join our growing public accounting team. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base across multiple industries, providing audit, tax, accounting, and advisory services.
The ideal candidate will have recent public accounting experience with a strong background in financial statement audits and tax preparation. This role offers exposure to a variety of engagements while working in a collaborative and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan and perform financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and other business entities.
• Analyze financial information to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas of concern.
• Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation in accordance with professional standards.
• Assist clients with accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and provide updates throughout engagements.
• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Manage multiple client engagements while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work standards.
• Stay current with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent audit and tax experience in a public accounting environment.
• Experience performing financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Experience preparing federal and state tax returns for various entity types.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CPA license or CPA-eligible status.
• Experience using accounting and tax software.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Experience serving clients across multiple industries.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and federal and state tax regulations.
• Experience with a variety of accounting and tax software platforms.
• Strong client relationship management skills.
