Maintenance Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced MAINTENANCE MECHANIC to join our Lithia Springs, GA plant. This is a full-time position Monday to Friday (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) with likelihood of overtime. This is not a building maintenance position. This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience in industrial maintenance. We offer competitive benefits and salary, plus up to $1.00/hr increase after 90 days. You will be responsible for ensuring our customers' satisfaction by achieving maximum up time on our manufacturing equipment. You will also work closely with all departments in the facility, including Production, Shipping, and more. About the Role

Responsibilities:

• Key Responsibilities

  • Machinery Repair: Fix motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and hydraulic or pneumatic lines.
  • Metal Fabrication: Cut, shape, and weld steel, aluminum, or iron to build custom brackets, guards, and replacement parts.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Inspect equipment routinely to catch worn-out parts before they break.
  • Shop Tool Operation: Use plasma cutters, drill presses, grinders, and ironworkers safely.
  • Ready and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

We Require:

• • Welding Proficiency: Strong experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick processes.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Deep understanding of how power transfer, bearings, and fluid power systems work together.
