Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within an Obstetrics unit on a routine scheduled night shift basis
• Perform delivery room duties, including receiving and caring for newborns
• Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal condition
• Float to MedSurg when OB census is low and provide care to medical-surgical patients as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas state license or multistate RN license required at time of submission
• Fetal monitoring certification required at time of submission
• AHA NRP certification required at time of submission
• AHA BLS certification required at time of submission
• AHA ACLS certification required at time of submission
• Demonstrated delivery room experience, including receiving newborns
• Previous MedSurg nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Ability to adapt to varied patient populations, including cross-departmental float assignments
