Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult med-surg and trauma telemetry patients on a 34-bed unit, maintaining patient ratios of 1:4–6 on day shift
• Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, escalating changes in patient acuity to the Charge RN, Rapid Response team, or provider as appropriate
• Perform and oversee unit procedures including IV fluids, IV antibiotics, tube feeds, and PEG feedings
• Attend shift huddles at the start of each shift and adhere to unit clock-in/clock-out and meal break policies
• Collaborate with CNAs, HUCs, and fellow RNs as a team player, assisting across roles as needed
• Float to other med-surg units and occasionally to the ED holding pod as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry or med-surg nursing experience
• Demonstrated telemetry rhythm interpretation skills
• Current BLS certification
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to assess med-surg level patients and recognize and respond to changes in acuity

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current ACLS certification
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Prior travel nursing experience in a trauma or telemetry setting
