Job Title

Travel RN – Med Surg / Telemetry Short Stay, Nights (4x12)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift | 19:00–07:00 | 4x12 | 13–26 Weeks | 36–48 Guaranteed Hours Per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities for adult patients including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort
• Provide care across a mixed unit population of approximately 50% medical and 50% telemetry adult patients
• Function within the scope of nursing practice consistent with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and established nursing guidelines
• Float as needed to a similar or lower acuity unit
• Participate in orientation on day shift for the full orientation week prior to beginning night shift assignment

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold a Missouri RN license
• Minimum 2+ years of Telemetry nursing experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIHSS certification
• Flu vaccination or facility-approved exemption required November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with EPIC EMR
• Strong team-oriented mindset with a focus on positive patient outcomes and superior communication skills
