Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights – 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit during overnight shifts
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient neurological status and apply NIHSS assessments as indicated
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient information and care accurately in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity or fast-paced Medical Surgical environment
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems
